In organizational communication, the function of communication combined with leadership is one of the most important aspects to study. While the basic role and functions of communication in information dissemination is clearly emphasized in today's organizations, the contribution of participatory communication in organizational transformation is not fully delved into by communication researchers. In this study, the researcher dug deeper into the communicative strategies used to identify the role of participatory communication in organizations and its applicability in organizational development. The communicative strategies were gauged through two viewpoints: Tan's perspective as a leader and Mrs. Sarah Fernandez's, Ms. Helen Lovino's, and Mrs. Lita Molina's as employees (subordinates). A message that calls for reformation was communicated to the employees of PH568 which helped salvage the organization from shutting down. In making the changes happen, participatory communication was used as a tool to encourage and win the involvement and commitment of the local community. The employees' perspective confirmed and complemented the leader's perception of ?effective communication?. The employees acknowledged that these strategies have been effective in strengthening PH568's communication and in synergizing the workplace.
