The Integrated Regional Information System (IRIS) is an online information system that manages socioeconomic data of Region 11 at the barangay level which are integrated to constitute the city/municipal, provincial and regional level data. The system has two major users ? administrators and common users. Administrators are divided into one general administrator, provincial administrators and local data managers. All administrators perform data entry and modifications of socioeconomic data of barangays and update profiles of the provinces, towns, barangays, or local administrators. The general administrator can also transfer a barangay from one town to the other or a town from one province to another province. Moreover, data entry and update allows uploading external file saved as MS Excel (.xls extension) data format. The information are presented in tabular and graphical forms that allow navigation of data among provinces, towns, and barangays. Graphics either show the distribution of data among subordinate areas with corresponding percentage of the increasing/decreasing rates of data over years. The system proposes some access to the locally-based information of the region. Likewise, local authorities would have an alternative way of collecting and disseminating socioeconomic related data and even a venue in promoting their respective areas specially the barangays
