This study used Bill Nichol?s participatory mode of documentary to communicate the issue of teenage pregnancy in Lebak, Sultan Kudarat. The participants of this research were teenagers whose age ranges from seventeen to twenty years old. The key informant people were the Municipal Health officers, specifically the Rural Health Midwives. The documentary film for this research took two months to produce and three subjects were interviewed to gather stories from the teenage mothers. Results showed that participatory mode of documentary became a significant tool in gathering stories, especially in this sensitive issue because the teenage mothers were more comfortable in sharing their narratives. Different techniques of documentary were also used such as face-to-face interview and the non-traditional filmmaker behind the camera interview, interaction with the teenage parents especially in their daily errands, and voice overs to set the mood of the film. The participatory mode of documentary proved to be an effective tool in extracting stories from the teenage parents. The teenage parents? narratives were backed up by the information from the Municipal Health office stating the growing numbers of teenage in the municipality as well as the lack of communication among the teenage mothers and the midwives. While the stigma for teenage pregnancy continues to proliferate in Lebak, Sultan Kudarat, this study can be tool in communicating and informing the dangers of the said issue to the youth in the municipality.
