Summary, etc. The study conducted a communication audit to assess the readability and clarity of the textual information of annual reports for the fiscal year 2013 and 2014 of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP). It also assessed the strength and weaknesses of the annual report as a communication tool to establish links with its member companies. A strategic communication audit was used to assess the relevant content, writing style, and readability, on how the PBSP integrated them across channels, (annual reports) - delivered in manner their member companies prefer to receive them. The author analyzed four randomly selected articles from each 2013 and 2014 PBSP annual Reports through the Gunning Fog Index, a readability formula was used to measure the readability index of textual information, generating the fog score from an online readability software. Results were further validated through an online survey among member companies. The purpose of the study is to provide PBSP with the information beneficial in improving one of their communication tools being used to generate funds and to improve the effectiveness of the tool and to serve as a benchmark for other organizations, and for the business and corporate communication practices to learn from the organization?s communication planning. The findings showed that both 2013 and 2014 annual reports of PBSP, the country?s business-led social development organization were readable enough to its intended audience not only purposively for its stakeholders but to any ordinary reader and over the course of a year had apparently increased its accessibility with its readable annual reports making their public disclosures even easier to decipher. PBSP should truly continue to live as an example for other Philippine Organizations in presenting more comprehensible communication materials.
