Summary, etc. EVL Buy and Sell and Trucking Services, is a family owned business located at Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat which was established in 1987. Mr. Eduardo M. Duque started his business with an initial capital of Php 100,000.00 which focused mostly on buying and selling rice (fresh and dry) and offers machine rentals to the farmers. As the years went through, EVL has grown into one of the biggest buy and sell and rice mills in the province of Sultan Kudarat. It has established its foothold in the industry after 30 years of remarkable performance and still standing strong amidst the crisis that the rice industry has gone through in the 90s. despite the EVL?s remarkable performance, the company continues to suffer many issues. This include the sustaining increasing demand of their customers despite depleting numbers of laborer, under capacity of production machineries , underemployed workers, and weak working policies. These issues hinder day-today operation of the company. Hence, these challenges had pushed Mr. Duque to look for answers to address these issues. Hence, this strategic plan is prepared to contribute in addressing these issues. It aims to provide a holistic approach to study in which a total view of the EVL Buy and Sell and Trucking Services? internal and external environment is taken into account using SWOT analysis. The internal audit or internal environment analysis allowed the business to identify its strengths and weaknesses based on a realistic assessment of the company?s internal resources and capabilities. This helped address the company to develop its strengths and overcome its weaknesses. Likewise, analysis of the components of the external environment was made which was crucial to find out the nature, functions, and their relationship for searching opportunities and the effects of threats and where they came from. The study will aid the development, formulation, and implementation of strategies that will bridge the gaps and help the company in the realization of its desired objectives which are the company?s vision and goals.
