Summary, etc. The Pantukan Coconut Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative is a coconut farmer?s organization in the Municipality of Pantukan. For the past several years, the cooperative has been experiencing problems such as high past due rate of receivable, lack of business capital and transportation facility to pick up farmers produce in remote areas, pole-vaulting of members produce and lack of management adaptive capacity to address challenges and changes in environment where the cooperative operates. The framework used in this study was developed by Mazzarol, Limnios and Simmons (2011). It is usually used as framework for approaching research into the coop enterprise and business model and its sustainability. The framework contained three levels of analysis focusing on individual member level and enterprise level, for the internal environment analysis and systems level for the external environment analysis. In data gathering, the writer conducted a series of interview and focus group discussion among stakeholders such as officers, members and management staff. Different government agencies and officers were also tapped to get further data and information that may be relevant in the organizational assessment and formulation of strategic management plan. There are three strategic management options that were recommended for implementation to address both internal and external forces affecting the organization. The first strategy is to intensify capital mobilization through increase in membership, collection of past due receivables and access of external funding to institution providing support to farmer?s organization. This strategy will address issues on lacking capital and high past due rate of the cooperative. It will also allow the latter to widen reach of its offered products and services through increase membership. The second strategy is to engage into a supply commitment to its farmer's members. This will address the issue on the lack of whole nut supply for delivery to its market and the pole-vaulting of members. The third and last proposed strategy is to enhance cooperative adaptive capacity to build resilience in facing challenges and changes that it may encounter as the cooperative continue pursue its goals and objectives.
