By: Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextPublication details: 2018Description: 295 leavesSubject(s): Dissertation note: Thesis (BS Architecture) University of the Philippines Mindanao, 2018 Abstract: This study generally aimed to address the emerging food and shelter situation through building-integrated agriculture in the form of vertical farming. Moreover, the research studied financial profitability opportunities from the Integration of fungiculture to mid-rise and high-rise condominium developments. For such project to be feasible, computations for the most efficient floor area ratio along with cash flow analyses and return on investment (ROI) were calculated. To compute the ROI, crop yield computations for the mushroom were also calculated. The following are the formulas used for the study: ROI = (Gain from Investment Cost of Investment)/ Cost of Investment, Yield = No. of Kilograms of Harvest/ 1 square meter.
