Plant height, fruit count, fruit weight, gall count, and above ground symptoms of nematode infection like chlorosis and necrosis and the days it occurred were recorded and analyses were done to assess effectively of the soil biofumigant have significantly higher yielded than the other treatments. The fruit yielded indicated to direct relationship on the number of galls present in the treated plants. However, results in gall count showed that increasing amounts of biofumigant in the soil generally decreased the amount of root galls. Untreated plants and those applied with carbofuran exhibited the highest root gall count. Moreover, treatments with the lowest gall count exhibited the highest mean height value in the last 4 weeks of the experiment.
