The 288 hour of plant practice aimed to provide the intern with adequate exposure on the plant's processing and production lines and other departments of the company. From the plant practice, the trainee was able to gather some information about the plant including its organizational set-up, its history and background, mission, vision, goals, its existing product lines, its production and processing systems, raw material preparation schemes, the plant and personnel hygiene and sanitation program, and other protocols being implemented to ensure product safety and quality. This manuscript aims to document the information on existing operations and activities gathered from the 288-hour exposure to the different departments at the Rookies Fruit Preserves. Specifically, this manuscript aims to document the comprehensive description on the plant's processing systems, the student's technical analyses on various aspects of the company, and the student's recommendations to improve existing procedures.
