To attract people and to provide enough information, a new way of exhibition will be introduced and a new museum will be established in order to be a Davao landmark that will be the indicator of attraction to the people. The problems and objectives in doing this research project are development of building form, the kind of technology that will be introduced into the building and on what aspect the project will depict cultural arts. The first goal for this research project is to create a landmark for Davao City that would depict cultural arts through the form of the structure. The core purpose of the structure is to display and store artworks of local contemporary artists, hence, the research leads to a museum of contemporary visual arts. Furthermore, to give a more lively display, incorporating technology to allow interaction and better learning is also an aim for this research project. To find out answers, the researcher has surveyed the local people in order to find out if the need for new tactic of display through technological enhancement is evident among the people. On the other hand, to learn what inspirations will be used to develop a form for the building, the researcher did thorough interview with the key informants, which are the local artists of Davao, including Kublai Milan, Lamberto Acyatan and Arnel Villegas. After receiving the opinions and suggestions of the interviewed artists, and knowing the status of the art society in Davao, furthermore, after accepting the respondents' answers, the researcher has reached into a conclusion that Davao City has not yet provided the citizens of Davao a museum for Visual Arts, which can attract all age brackets and can provide learning with interaction and enhanced technological capability. The researcher has also concluded that architecture is always inter-related to the field of Visual Arts based on the art elements that was used in derivation of the form of the building.
