The purpose of this study is to determine how the teachers create and send messages to the students despite the language barrier, because of the language barrier; it is difficult for the Korean students to understand the lesson since they are not that proficient in English. Through the observation of the classes, the researcher determined how the English teachers, as the sender, compose the message to be sent to the Korean students through different channels. The study follows the course of the transactional model of communication in justifying the continuity of the communication. The model is also used to completely describe the communication process through determining the factors underlying each of the elements during the interaction.
