It was formed by the beneficiaries of the Philippines Government?s Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program. Its main objective is o develop an appropriate system of land management in areas covered by land reform and to provide basic goods, services and other requirements as stated by the member-beneficiaries in the cooperative?s strategic objectives. A strategic planning exercise was conducted to support the organizational planning and project expansion that the cooperative intends to undertake. The activity was expected to help SAMRARBCO?s management team to gain technical skills through hands-on skills training and innovative capacity building. An objective assessment of SAMRARBCO?s internal and external environments was performed to evaluate its strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities. This information was used to assist in the formulation of the appropriate strategies for the cooperative?s activities in the next five years. Through the use of several analytical tools, capacity-building of the cooperative members was deemed to be the most attractive option for the firm. Consequently, strengthening of the farmer-members? capabilities will empower them to apply the skills and knowledge generated by the training, design curriculum projects for exposures, carry out organizational policies, and be skillful in performing jobs related to project expansionItem type | Current library | Collection | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
