Perhaps this to you also sounds more than being familiar, in a sense nostalgic and historic, the world today is huge pool of technological innovations. We are largely and undeniably controlled by these machines we cannot admit we can apparently live without. The Philippines, despite being the third world nation, has never been an exception. And with these technologies clinging to almost all aspects of our lives, from politics, fashion, entertainment, research and even activities of our ordinary day lives such as gaming, especially in children, can the famous Jose Rizal line ? ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan? ( the youth is the hope of our nation) still apply? This exertion is a product of the researcher?s humblest intention to potentially bring back the fading concepts of the Philippine street games, which have played a significant role in molding the character of the founding Filipino generations. Architecture therefore in relation to the overall objective of this study in retaining and bringing back on the track the historical games through standardizing the play spaces of the most popular traditional games through the past 8 decades is a first in history and would serve as a prototype for future more similar endeavors.
