Organic farming promotes sustainability of rural economy, improving soil health, and creating a good environment, as well as, providing employment for the community. By taking into account the internal conditions of the company, economic growth may be realized by developing a strategic plan with a specific time frame. This paper aims to provide a strategic management plan to help the Kahayag Farms- one of the local organic farms in Mindanao ? in order to maximize its resources and improve its over-all performance towards achieving sustainability and further development. In this strategic plan, the company?s continuous quest to provide healthy and organic options for its end users is outlined. Kahayag Farm is diversified organic farming company founded by Mr. Mikhal Evasco that started to operate in 2012. It began a small farm intended to grow farm produce using environmentally-sound organic approach. In order to ensure a comprehensive growth plan, an analysis of the external and internal conditions which have shaped the industry was done. A SWOT Analysis was used to evaluate the threats and opportunities in the external environment of the organic food production industry. The strengths and weaknesses presented defined the potential of the company in terms of growth. These possibilities are present in the company?s organizational structure, financial standing and human resource development. This strategic plan is intended to take into account the factors ? external and internal, that shape the industry and analyze its concrete conditions. From these conditions, this strategic plan intends to bring forth growth for the company by formulating an action plan which will be the basis of all activities in identified in the key results areas. These key result areas will lead to the achievement of specific targets and goals
