UP Mindanao integrated information management system : computerized student record subsystem / Ruel Gerald Pantojan Lastimado

It focused on automated management of student records and generation of student reports such as true copy of grades and report of final grades. It is a subsystem that is designed specifically for the university registrar and college secretaries of UP in Mindanao. It has a user-friendly interface. The system involves management of students? general data, courses, departments, degree programs, colleges, class schedule, and student grades. It also includes automated management on changes of matriculation, dropping of subjects, waiving and getting consent of instructors for courses to be taken upon enrollment. It operates collaboratively with the other subsystems of the UP Mindanao Integrated Information Management System. It also features automated generation of students? true copy of grades, class list, and report of final grades which greatly saves time and effort. Additional feature includes exporting of exporting of student records to a csv file which enables the user to access the data using spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel. The system is designed for long term use for the university. The system is built using Java making it a platform-independent application. Its database is built using MySQL database server.
