Key messages were identified from one-on-one interviews with selected students of the University of the Philippines Mindanao and in-depth interviews with experts from fields of psychology and adolescent counselling, and were incorporated in designing the visual novel. Aesthetic elements needed for the visual novel were identified and designed in the production process. After producing the visual novel, it was beta tested by participants of the one-on-one interviews for further technical revisions. The produced visual novel is a single-player game with an average playing time of 30-60 minutes.
