N2  - The focus of this strategic paper is the Port Operations and Logistics Department of Lapanday Foods Corporation. It has three different units that oversee the different functions and operations of the department. After evaluating the external and internal environments of the department, it has been found that the main challenge it faces is the optimization of its operations that deals at least 50, 000 US of losses. Moreover, another significant concern is the efficiency of the production forecast of bananas as most of the operations of POL Department rely on the generated estimates. Thus, to be able to address these concerns, three-year strategic plan is formulated and proposed. These are (1) Enhance operations efficiency through systematic alignment of reefer containers utilizing quantitative management, specifically Linear Programming method and (2) Create a sustainable program addressing to improve forecasting method to predict production volume estimates
