This study evaluates the experience of beneficiaries using the post occupancy evaluation in relation to the process of housing provision by Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, Inc. (GK), Homeless People?s Federation Philippines, Inc. (HPFPI), and National Housing Authority (NHA) in subsiding houses to lower income communities. Two variables were involved in this research. First was the user?s experience which was visible through the levels of satisfaction of users on the present physical condition of the unit and unit satisfaction. Data on the post occupancy evaluation for user?s experience were gathered through survey questionnaire which involved open and close ended questions. Second was the housing provision process by GK, HPFPI, and NHA which was obtained mostly through Key Informant Interview. These processes were organized using the six Phases of Housing Provision Process. The study showed that beneficiaries have high levels of unit satisfaction because the beneficiaries were able to adapt to physical changes overtime. Also, beneficiaries were mostly satisfied if involved to participate in any part of the housing provision process. Therefore, in creating new guidelines of housing provision process, participation of the beneficiaries on the whole process should be necessary. The more self-help the process, increases the beneficiaries? satisfaction.
