N2  - Dubbed as the "Land of Promise", Mindanao has so far been an enigma to the Philippine government. Its rich natural resources belie the existence of a strife torn populace. The deep-rooted ideological and religious differences are ready triggers that could ignite at anytime, with devastating consequences to the social, political and economic state of the region. However, efforts are presently underway to rehabilitate Mindanao and hopefully, the economic gains will eventually erase the decade- long stigma of being the war front of the country.

 It is under these availing circumstances that the present undertaking is being conducted. The business climate in the region is slowly flexing its muscles towards economic recovery. For a business firm operating in the region, there is no other way to be competitive but to be strategically prepared to undertake decisive decisions that could spell not only the economic viability of the firm but also its very own survival.
