Twek that cheese up! a production thesis on the package design of Malagos Farmhouse's Artisan Cheese Products is a design production thesis that aims to create a proposed package design for the Malagos Farmhouse Artisan Cheese products through identifying and assessing the present elements of design found on their package design and on some locally produced products. This study recognized the lack of information on the basic principles of package designing among producers and package designers particularly in being able to reflect the target market, the company's identity and the product in the packaging on the package design. Using the Modernist Theory of Louise /Sullivan and the twenty guidelines in package design proposed by Timothy Samara I was able to identify and assess the elements of design found on the package designs of locally and the Malagos Farmhouse logo and see if the elements of designs used are able to meet the basic objectives of a package design, reflect the target market, the company's identity and the product in the packaging on the package design. After collecting the sample data I then proceeded in conceptualizing and choosing the elements of design I would use in creating tangible proposed package design for all thirteen artisan cheeses that Malagos Farmhouse has and assessing using Modernist theory and the guidelines given by Samara. However, the logo is left as is as requested by the company owner.
