This study was conducted to identify and analyze the relevant factors that determine the market channel choice as well as the income of mango farmers particularly in Davao City. The study also assessed the effects of the determinant factors to the decision of mango farmers in choosing a market channel and also for mango farmers' income. Primary data, using a semi-structured questionaire was collected from 100 farmer respondents in the study area and was the analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, binary probit analysis showed that distance from farm to market and annual income were the two significant factors affecting the market channel choice of mango farmers to choose financiers. Distance from farm to market had a positive effect on the decision of mango farmers to choose financiers while annual income on the other hand, had a negative effect on the decision. The greater the distance from farm to market the more the farmer will choose financiers however, the higher the income of farmers the more they will choose other market channels. Ordinary least of squares regression analysis was used to determine the significant factors affecting the income of farmers. Results showed that contractual arrangements specifically output sharing had a negative effect on the income of farmers. Farmers that were engaged in contractual arrangements have less income received. In contrast, volume of production had a positive effect to the income of farmers. The more yield produced after harvest the higher the profit earned and farmers received more income. The proponent recommends that government agencies should concentrate on the relevant factors perceived in the study which significantly affect farmer's market channel choice and income in order to promote stability and improvement of the mango industry in Davao City.
