Among the large population of the PWDs in the Philippines, about 7,000 are registered in Davao City. The Accessibility Law requires to enhance mobility of PWDs and is personified by the International Symbol of Access (ISA). However, its existence was absorbed in the built environment resulting to decrease in prioritization value. Thus, this production thesis aims to raise awareness and strengthen prioritization for PWD?s accessibility in both private and public spaces. The researcher conducted series of observation on public spaces (access ramps and parking areas) of Abreeza Ayala Mall and the results were used as basis in conceptualizing and crafting a series of signages that will supplement the existing ISA. The creation process involved Elements and Principles of Design for the visual aspect and Elaboration Likelihood Model in shaping the messages to be conveyed. Furthermore, emotional appeal was integrated in the content through grammatical moods. The crafted series if signages were subjected to pre-testing and results showed both positive and passive outputs. In conclusion, the series of signages changed the behavior of able-bodied mall-goers towards prioritization on PWD special lanes ER -
