Employing the visual-encounter technique, eight species were reckoned. Using the Shannon-Weiner Diversity Index, it was calculated that Sitio Kaliloan (site A) had the highest diversity with 1.608 than Sitio Tagbayangbang (Site B) and Kamanon Creek (Site C) with 0.895 and 0.691, respectively. Among the documented species, Rana cancrivora Gravenhorst was the most relatively abundant species (0.446). five out of the eight species were endemic (62.5). there were also unaccounted but locally sighted species in the area. This information should be constantly monitored because habitat destruction from the forest denudation and slash-and-burn farming practices are threatening amphibian population ER -
