Under the curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology of the University of the Philippines Mindanao, the plant practice aimed at offering of intern with adequate exposure on the actual food processing practices in a food processing company. During the practicum, the intern had the chance to apply the valuable concepts learned inside the four corners of the classroom. Equipped with the ideas in Food Science and Technology, she was able to partake in the processing and production of pasteurized and sterilized milk and harnessed skill on quality assurance and safety handling of milk products.
