Authentic stories from the teachers and students from the said institutions were collated and synthesized guided by Allan Paivio?s Dual coding theory, the researcher produced the textual and visual images of the picture storybook that are complementary as they interplay and convey meanings through the medium. The study was also guided by the elements of the static visual narratives which was utilized to strategically frame the visual and textual components of the picture storybook.
