During the student's plant practice, he was able to relate and apply theories and principles in Food Science. He was able to take part in processing of ketchup in the Production Line from the receiving of raw and packaging materials, preparation and mixing, cooking, and filling, up to packaging and storage. He was able to understand the importance of each section and the synergy of each to be able to produce a good quality product. He also engaged in the activities done under the Quality Control Department and these allowed him to internalize the importance of maintaining a good quality product to the market. He was able to develop strong relationship with co-workers and plant personnel.
