The student was given a total 288 hours to take part in the activities at the Quality Assurance Department and the Research and Development of the plant. The chemical and organoleptic analyses on both in-process and cut-out evaluation of the emulsions and finished products were done in the Quality Assurance laboratory. In the Research and development Department, the student was able to assist and perform chemical analyses in different experiments. The problems encountered during the course of the plant practice were determined and the possible solutions and recommendations to these were presented.
